Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Thomas Olaeta Elementary School! It is my privilege to continue serving you as the T.O. Principal. For over 50 years, Thomas Olaeta Elementary has been at the heart of the Atwater community, nurturing tomorrow's leaders today.

1. Attendance Matters: Ensure your child attends school on time, every day, all day. Attendance is critical to their success, and consistent participation helps them stay engaged and on track. Please make every effort to schedule appointments outside of school hours.

2. Parental Involvement: We encourage you to actively participate in your child's education. Join our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to get involved, support school activities, and be a part of the decision-making process that impacts our students' experiences.

3. READ, READ, READ!: Reading is foundational to academic success. Whether you’re reading to your child or encouraging independent reading, it’s important that they read every night. This love of reading will benefit them for a lifetime.

4. Rigorous and Fun Learning: At T.O., we strive to make learning challenging and enjoyable. By providing a balanced curriculum, we aim to foster not only academic excellence but also a love for learning that inspires curiosity and creativity.
